a 24 hour map of all flights in the United States

This is an "airspace map" - a time based mapping of a day's airtraffic - a sort of antfarm view of the United States's airplanes movements and trajectories. It is fascinating to watch over time the rhythms and density of activity formed in this dynamic drawing.
